Supercharger/Turbo

Does any know where I can get a supercharger or Turbo for my 05 bmw X5 4.8is???

Just checked with them no LUCK for turbos or superchargers for the E53 X5 4.8is

yea it was the only site online that popped up for turbos. only other company I know of is http://www.activeautowerke.com

Seem to found a company in Phila PA called VAC motorsports... They CAN DO IT!!! They mentioned that I'll be the 2nd only person to do that the make and model EVER... Pricing though.. Got an appointment tomorrow with them... keep you posted on the project. Projected total HP is 525 in a freaking X5 is INSANE!!!

How did this turn out??? I am looking for a supercharger for my 2007 BMW X5i 4.8. I emailed VAC but have not heard back.

Hit the brakes! That's just an Audi RS4 K04 turbo, not a turbo set up for the X5.

Only real "go fast" offerings I have currently for the 4.8 E53 is the SprintBoosters (found HERE) which eliminate the drive by wire lag and really "wake up" the X5.

Any update on the turbo charger? I'd like to consider this option.

Just to let everyone know that ESS Tuning will be coming out with a supercharger for the X5 4.8is in March of this year. The cost with be close to $10,000 for the for the higher output turbo , which will give you an output of about 480HP. They do have some superchargers for the other X5 models so give them a call if your interested.
