Heat Setting In 535xi

Hello All,

Has anyone else noticed once the car is warmed up on the Interstate, if you set the heat to 84 degrees, it drives you out of the cabin with extreme heat. However, if you bump it down to 83 degrees, you can almost see your breath in a matter of a minute or so.

This cannot be normal with a one degree temperature fluctuation....

Sounds faulty to me.

I haven't turned mine up past 70. Usually keep it at 68 and put on the heated seats to 2 lights. After that I'm comfy in only a few minutes.

Turn your red / blue dial between the two upper vents to the middle. It is currently on full blue. More info in your manual.

Is this thread a joke? There's another one exactly like it from a few days ago. You are exhibiting improper use of the automatic system. Check your manual for proper use. You set it to you desired cabin target temp and leave the controls alone. You don't have to set it on 84 to get heat in the first place. You are overheating the cabin at 84 degrees, then it is overreacting to try and cool the cabin when you drop the temp. Over and out.
