F12 / F13 (2012 - Current)
The future is now! The all new 6 series coupe (F12) and convertible (F13) details are out and dealers are taking orders. Still no word on when the 4 door Gran Coupe will go into production. |

tyre / tire valve stems
I am keen to activate TPMS. I read on one of the coding threads that if you have steel tire valve stems (which presumably contain the pressure / temp monitors) TPMS can be activated. With rubber valve stems, no.
Can anybody confirm this? Thanks, R.

I am fairly certain all F12/13 6ers come with TPMS. Then again you never know what BMW delivers to different parts of the world. But for sure, the TPMS valve stems are not rubber. The are integral with the sensor/transmitter unit mounted from inside the wheel.
