I had my ABS Module replaced. No coding required an it was easy as pie.

Hey, what was your symptoms. Ive been posting about this issue but got no response. My ABS works, but I have a DTC light on the dash. Comes right back when the codes are cleared and I was able to manually start the DTC pump. Is this the part your talking about replacing?

Yes that's the part that I have replaced. It started with the circle with a triangle in the center on my dash.

When you say "it started" with the light. Does that mean you started getting other lights as well?

Also rookie those tpms sensors worked if your still interested?

When I left NY to come out here I got stuck in snow leaving the house. MY DTC, DSC light came on an stayed on. Then about 7 months later my parking brake light came on an stayed yellow. After a few attempts to fix the issue it was only solved by replacing the ABS Module. One of the speed sensors prongs inside the module was beyond repair so I replaced the module here locally. Sorry I'm driving a truck right now an my messages might not make sense.

That part is better priced than module masters...I've never heard of the company but I'm gonna look into it..that part on eBay is the one I'm looking to replace...my symptoms started with losing the power steering, speedo stopped working and the abs and brake lamps came on in the dash as well as the dsc circle light...the module would work once in a while when it was freezing cold but only for 10 minutes then all the faults would come back...

My guess would be YES based on a few circumstances. Once the ABS module is remove you will loose your spedo an you will loose your power steering. Being that your ABS module is still connected to the car leave me to believe, YES the ABS Module is your problem. Now you can possibly repair your existing module for a few bucks if you know how or you can buy a rebuilt one. Shop around though cause I have seen them as high as $700.00 for a reman one.

The company module masters in Moscow seems to have a great turnaround rebuilding your existing one ASAP and shipping it back to u..I've found a few cars being parted out here in the San Francisco area..Just need to find out if another one swapped out from a donor car will work just fine or if anything is needed for it...

Sorry I dont mean to hijack the thread. Rookie, the part that is stopping me from replacing the unit is that I can start the pump via INPA. When you had your DTC light do you happen to know if you could do the same? Im not reluctant to spend the money. But I would rather not buy un-needed parts if ya know what I mean. Also I dont have parking break light (it works ) and no ABS light (ABS works). But the DTC is not working, I loose traction in the rain.

The part thats driving me nuts is I only get the precharge pump code. I found that if the module is bad the pump will error out/not work if you try to do it through INPA. But I have nothing left to go on. I might just get the pump, sensor, and abs block.

If I drive the car w/o that DTC unit, will it hurt anything?
