1989 325i Headlights Replacement
Has anybody found reasonably priced OEM or quality aftermarket headlights for the 325i? I need all four new lights (not just bulbs), and some of the associated mounting parts. And with prices I've been seeing, four new lights will cost me a small fortune.

I checked there, but they don't seem to have the classic 3 series style lights. The ellipsoid style? I'm not sure exactly what they're called. Where the center is a bigger type bulb that's darker than the rest of the headlight when it's off.

Try the part out threads or visit a salvage yard? Buying brand new Hella ellipsoids will be between $400-500.

Simple lights are 200 a pair new (Hella). Might need a trick to fit

In case anybody else is looking for ellipsoid low beams, eEuroparts.com is a great source. Watch the sales. The passenger side low beam was $124 and driver's side was $93. $124 is the normal price for all the Hella low beams, and the high beams are $54 each. These are the lowest prices I found.

I've still got the sealed beams for the high beams, but plan on converting those as well... it's a nice upgrade..
