Driver side actuator door lock failure?
2008 535I, Driver side ACTUATOR DOOR LOCK LATCH MECHANISM intermittently works. Sometimes, when I pull on the door handle twice the door does not unlock.
 I noticed, the mechanism is sluggish, as if it were stuck on something. Is this a quick fix with WD-40 or a showing early signs of mechanical failure? Car is no longer under factory Warranty. Any one how to fix it? Thanks a million

latch mechanism may just need to be lubed. You may want to remove the interior trim and lube the latch mechanism both from inside, and with the door open.
