Out of curiosity (failing parts/miles)

What usually fails at what miles on the 7 in your experience?
I ask because my local dealer does not want to cooperate with pulling a service history.

I purchased my car in October, 2003 745Li with 123,000 miles. The car has been reliable these 4 months I'm dreading the coolant pipe fix. Wondering if its been replaced.

I'm very mechanically inclined, I did a timing chain guide job on my prior 540, water pumps, alternators, transmission seals etc so I'm not afraid of the actual job just worried about being stranded, so what do you guys think are some failing points with miles are?

Mine has about 10k more. My coolant pipe is leaking, alternator gasket, mechatronics sleeve, and many hoses under good are starting to crack

My 2007 had all these items replaced between 90k-98k miles. They appear to be pretty common failure items.

Alternator Gasket leaking oil
Valve Cover Gaskets, valve Cover bolt seals, spark plug tubes leaking oil
Timing Cover Gaskets leaking oil
Charcoal Canister clogged (16 13 7 167 538) (Hard to fuel when tank over half full)
Navigation System DVD Drive (65 83 9 241 764) (Navigation failure)
In Dash CD Changer (cartridge wouldn't eject)
Alternator/Water Pump Belt Tensioner (noisy)
Water pump, hoses and transfer pipe (noisy, leaking coolant)
Switch Unit Assembly Steering Column (61-31-9-138-467) (Dynamic Drive Fault message)
Light Switch Assembly (61316941995) (Parking Brake Failure message)
Alternator Noisy (bad Bearings)
Mechatronic Sleeve, Transmission Pan Gasket & Plug (Transmission Fluid Leak)
Worn GEEBO (harsh downshifts when slowing)
Vacuum Pump (leaking oil)

Thank god for the 100K mile BMW CPO and Maintenance Plan or I'd have been out major $$$ only had to pay for GEEBO, DVD and CD changer repairs and fixed those myself thanks to this forum.
