Anybody own both 5's?

I love to drive my wife's new (to us) 535i. My fun car is a C6 Corvette, so I love low end torque and power; therefore I am looking for the right 550 for me. Do any of you have, or at one time have both cars and can therefore talk about the comparison between the two cars? I'm really interested to hear opinions.

Basically if you don't care about the gas much and are not looking to mod the engine of the car, get the 550i

Just for reference I walked a c6 vette with my tuned 535 so I imagine a 535 could be just as fun as a vette.

That's incredible, as I've owned 3 Corvettes and I know what they're capable of...

Went from a tuned, header, exhaust, 420RWHP 09 LS3 C6 and a 370RWHP tuned 08 Silverado 6.0 to an X5 Diesel and an 07 550i. Honestly, the 550i is a great car to REPLACE the Corvette, let alone have in ADDITION to. So i think you will enjoy the car.

Looking to add another 'Vette in the future though. Maybe a C7..

So I first wrote this great treatise comparing the F10 535i to the E60 550i, but then realized you were asking about E60 535i vs E60 550i, so I deleted it.
