E92 resale values went up?

Been keeping my eye on trade in values for the e92. In oct, my average trade in was ~28k and now it is ~29k. I checked at NADA. Could this happen because the the 3 series is getting rid of the coupes in favor of the 4 series? And that means those who want coupes now need to cough up more money for the 4 series.

I ordered a 2013 e92 specifically to avoid getting the 4 that the dealer said would come with the Eco crap and e steering.

You can't really tell until the 4 series comes out.
I would expect a huge drop in value than.

i am thinking of doing the same thing. my lease is up in may not feeling the looks of the 4 plus the incentives on the e92 are hard to resist. the e92 is a good looking car imo.

boo i hate that junk. I hope they will do a better job with that EPS load of crap.

I have a feeling the value will not drop as fast as it did with the e90. You cannot buy 3er coupes anymore so they will hold their value better. Any used car will depreciate a ton whether or not a new model is out. Crossing my fingers the 3er coupe demand will jump when the 4 comes out.
