first road trip with my e34.

decided last minute to take my e34 down to orange county from northern california monday. went with a friend but it was my first time making the drive myself. boy did she not let me down.

went right after work and was aiming to meet up some friends at a bar before they closed. eta was was 6.5 hours which would put us in OC by 1am. made it by 12am pushing 90-100mph majority of the way off of not even a full tank. car read 87.4 avg mph. 21.5mpg over a span of 360+ miles with 91 octane.

weather was amazing while i was there, so took her cruising around to south coast plaza and hollywood to do some shopping

since i wasn't in a rush to get back home wednesday so i wanted to see how efficient she was. full tank before we hit the road, came back home with over a 1/4 tank left. with an average of 27mpg going about 70-85mph majority of the way.

she had no problem on the 152 or over the grape vine. only problem i noticed was small vibration in the steering wheel when applying the break at a higher speed. will have a friend take a look at it this week.

but now i see why everyone loves their e34 so much. looking forward to see what else she can do.

Replace the bushings oystr the whole arm. I do the whole arm because it's not much more expensive and you don't have to worry about pressing the bushings in

replace them or swap out the bushings.

thanks guys for the info on how to fix/replace the thrust arms.
