Plasti-Dip Smoke on badge

Operation: De-Chrome complete! Since I have owned my car I put gunmetal wheels, smoked taillights, ,smoked turn signals ,smoked headlamp corners, black chrome kidney grilles, black vynal tape over chrome door trim and carbon fiber emblems for the trunk, hood and wheels. My final piece of chrome was the rear badge. Instead of using traditional black plasti-dip I opted for the "Smoke" to match the rest of the car. I ended up doing about 8-9 coats (cant rememer the exact number). The change between each coat is very subtle that is why I put so many coats on. The more coats, the darker the tint. The final product has a slight texture that I was not expecting but it doesnt look all that bad. In the pictures the badge appears much lighter than in person. In person it is much dark. Overall I am very satisfied with how it ended up!

Comements and questions are welcome!

These are my summer wheels. The dip matches them quite well

I dont believe they make them anymore. Last I knew I bought one of the last two off tire rack a few years ago after I bent one of mine. I probably should have bought the last two if I was smart
