Passenger Side Front Window Fix
I have replaced the window sliders about 4 times now in the passenger side front window, but it keeps jumping out of the track/rail . . . any suggestions for a permanent cure? Or, will replacing the window regulator fix this problem on a more permanent basis? I have heard that this is a common problem with my beamer (1997 BMW 328ic
E36 M52). Will BMW fix it as a recall or something like that? I would apprecate any advice . . . D |

The window regulator is a common failure on E36s and E46s. Lube the slides and bite the bullet on the regulator. You'll save yourself a good 50k miles of frustration until it breaks again

Amazingly, my dog was riding in the back seat (the top was down), she stood up on the front passenger side window (which was abt. half way down) and pushed it all the way down with her paws . . . then it started working . . . now it's working a little bit . . . I'm going to rent her out as "Pearl, the window repairdog, works for bones"!!! D
