My new mineral white metallic with some vinyl accents on it. Enjoy

I would like to share some pics of my new ride.

First thing I did was the roof vinyl overlay. then added some accents and I saw the M Performance stripes last month at a show and I kind of like them.

All exterior work was done at Rolotech graphics in Anaheim.

Let me know what you guys think about. For now I think I'm all set.

Big fan of white with the racing stripes. Vinyl, so comes off if you get tired of it. Brilliant.

You need the IND painted reflectors in the worst way. On a white car with so much going on on the exterior (especially the red whiskers clashing with the orange hue) killing the reflectors makes it a bit more simple and true to the European design.

Headlight eye-lip in black, I think I paid $60

The whole silver section of the headlight got covered with black. I saw the guy doing it and he use a tape that cuts the vinyl without a knife so no scratches.

Years ago when auto racing became an international pastime many race cars body styles were similar in appearance thus difficult to tell exactly who was who. This is where Lucky's white base body color with twin blue Le Mans stripes that are forever linked to the 1965 GT350 came from and we will proudly wear those colors to represent the United States.

Interesting, because if I ever bought a Jag, I'd definitely want it to be British Racing Green, if I ever got a Ferrari, I'd want it to be red, and I prefer Silver BMWs (which are German), and this was always subliminal. I never had any idea there was an actual standard code in place at one time.

looks nice. what are those red lines in the front vents, m sport? youre the second person ive seen with those.

At least you are mineral white. If you had alpine we would have had a problem

David must have laughed. After my car he is suddenly inundated with stripes and red whiskers and eyebrows.

That is why the colors are referred to as Italian Racing Red, French Racing Blue and British Racing Green, etc. Pre war German Grand Prix cars were called Silver Arrows. In those years Mercedes and Auto Union (Audi) were very dominant.

Strangely when Jaguar released the XKR-S it was only available in a few colors. British Racing Green was not one of them but French Racing Blue was.

American racing cars in international competition were originally white bodies with blue chassis but when cars developed to the point where the chassis components were no longer visible they went to blue stripes on a white body.

Although the old FIA color standards are no longer in effect Ferrari race card have almost always been red. A notable exception is a green ex Stirling Moss Ferrari 250 GTO that sold last year for over $30,000,000.

It's the standard Sport line whiskers but the chrome set has been replaced with red ones.

right, i could tell that. at first I thought MOnkeyCMonkeyDoo just had it done himself. But now I see both his and the OP's cars are almost identical. Are the red whiskers and racing stripe some kind of prepackaged mod thing?

Vinyl wrap. I tried to remove anything chrome or silver from the car, thus the red whiskers, blacked eyebrows and black rims. Not sure what the OP's reasons were
White black and red all over is the design and chrome and silver have no place in that scheme.

Just for contrast here is basically the same thing in Alpine White

Thanks! Credit goes to the vinyl shop who did it for me.

I'm going to be full wrapping my car in a matte color not sure yet if what color, I want to protect the paint, also I might go with matte red so that my interior match.
