750il 1998 code1270

Hello,i got this wonderful car a week ago,check engine is on with code po1270 control modulo ,try to find this problem,realy apreciate any tips to fix that,thanks guys.

It's telling you that the MAF's are out of sync. How many miles do you have?

thanks,185k ,i decided send to bmw dealer to day and they found leaking for the intake manifost need need gasket , im going to check this gasket very priced ,so if still good probably put some sylicone im reused again ,probably this codes is going to help a lot bimers, bmw dealer said 90% is leaking for the intake gaskets with code po1270, po173.

Never reuse gaskets!

thanks again, well my intention was removed the old gasket, and under the wires located in the top there a couple plastic pipes and one a this was broken in half, replaced that and my engine start realy smooth now, after check in the freeway bad again same code came back po12170, po170 , po173, im still thinking in the dme bad , . so bmw dealer told me need replace intake gasket about $2700 with labor included, what about the mistake for this guys i did that in one hour and cost me $7 just in little hose and clamp,but still my original problem,thanks again.
