About to pull trigger on FIRST ever BMW, good lease deal?

Looking to get into a 550, can someone PLEASE verify if this is a good deal? Do you think I can negotiate the price down further? (with 8-9% of the MSRP, final price comes to $66,393; I don't want them to laugh at me if I offer this, what do you think?) BTW, I live in NC, dealer is in ATL.

2013 AW with Venetian Beige Dakota Leather, sport auto trans with paddle shift, power rear sun shades, heated front seats, ceramic control, driver assistance package, executive package, m sport package

MSRP 73,770
Discount $4,945
Selling Price 68,825
Doc Fee 599
Total Price 69,427
*BMW Grad Incentive $1000

MF .00081 (7 MSDs)
12k/36 mo with 62% residual

Monthly lease payment 770 + $23 tax= $793?

ANY INPUT IS APPRECIATED....the dealer will be calling me back tomorrow AM and would love insight from informed BMW customers before making a decision.

BTW Edmunds INVOICE pricing for this vehicle is $68,150

What's the reason behind offering them below invoice if there are no further manufacturer's incentive to support it?

You can use www.bmwconfig.com to configure your vehicle and get an exact invoice amount. You should be able to find a dealer willing to lease you the vehicle with the manufacturer base money factor with no MSDs, $0 down except for first lease payment, and a $500-$1K markup from invoice (includes dealer/doc fee).

See, when the Government spends money, it creates jobs; whereas when the money is left in the hands of Taxpayers, God only knows what they do with it. Bake it into pies, probably. Anything to avoid creating jobs. - Dave Barry

Wink

Appreciate the input. Couple more questions- any disadvantage to putting down multiple SDs to bring down the MF (besides keeping that money and investing it elsewhere for a potentially better return)? Will I definitely get my security deposit back at the end of my lease term or is there potential that they'll throw a curveball at the end of my lease term??

Since this is my first time leasing can someone chime in and see if these additional fees they're adding onto the selling price are standard?

Doc fee 599
Acquisition fee 925
License fee 250
Cap fee 290

Any negotiating on the above fees?

Thanks for your insight

One, you will be very hard pressed to get better than the approximate 12% return you get on your MSDs. It is a no-brainer. The Doc fee seems high to me, and they are marking up the acquisition fee, it should be $725. I assume the license fee is the DMV fees, which seem high, but maybe not in your state, and I am not sure what the "cap fee" is.

Not sure if this helps, my deal:

13' 550i x-drive Carbon/blk
Cold weather
Sport auto trans
M-sport

$735 monthly
$1831 out of pocket
10k a year mileage.

I'm not a good negotiator, but 2 other dealers couldn't beat that deal. NY/NJ
