Any issues Dinan

I am being offered a flat rate of $3k for DS2 by my local dinan installer. Is it a fair price?

Also did any of you have any issues after flash that were difficult to resolve (mechanical, service, repair etc) / any regrets after flash.

No issues here but I still think 3k is too much

How much normally people pay for that.

Dinan Stage 2 is $3,500 plus 0.5-1.0hr of shop time for installation. Currently there is a 15% off sale, which is $2,975 + installation. Your dealer is offering to install for $25, which I would say is pretty good.

There a bunch of write-ups on 550s with Dinan here in this forum, which should be a wealth of info on the topic for people considering their mods.

How does one get the sale price. Just request it from dealer?

Don't forget tax. My local dealer quote with sale is $3,250

It's a Dinan sale not BMW, it should be on sale everywhere

Try to negotiate a "price out the door." Some places may overlook tax, especially (or only) if you pay cash... Just a thought, overall - I think it's a fair price.

If the dealer isn't aware of the sale (doubtful), just tell them about it. During my Stage II install, they got confused how to apply the Stage II discount since I had Stage I also installed at a discount. While they were scratching their heads, I called Dinan and handed my phone over to the dealer. Dinan explained that should I get the discount based upon Retail and not my actual paid amount for Stage 1. So if there is any doubt, Dinan is pretty reachable.
