Retractable license plate frame

Anyone have one of these or seen it in person? This is an outstanding little contraption.

Yeah I needed something different. I always loved the 7 series and never liked the 5's..hated that ugly ass but the redone f10 really pushed me to decide to get one. My client also pulled up in a new black one and it just looks bigger even though its only like an inch or 2 longer than the w212. If has a more aggressive larger look. I have to be honest I had to battle myself in side to jump ship from a MB to a BMW, I felt like I was committing adultery but I am glad. I am hoping in 3 years the CLS550 looks perfect (almost there now) and I have a hunch I will be back to MB then.

There are so many more features I am getting on the BMW that I did not have on the Mercedes and the payments are the same actually a little less. I still can't fathom how the f10 is $11,000 more yet basically the same lease payment as my W212.

I am VERY excited to have the shifter back in the middle...I so missed that when I had the W211.
The front of the W212 is very nice but feels like it just dies and drops off when you look at it from the side, not aggressive enough...the F10 is just right in the front. Keyless entry, comfort seats and so many other options I did not have on the W212 and not costing me any more...it was a no brainer.

I finally got out of my comfort zone and got a different color interior than black, I always get black/black but really happy with the cinnamon dakota. When I saw it in person it looks so much nicer than the photos of it online.

Probably the real deciding factor was I did not want to be in another E for 39 months which would have been 9 3/4 years being in an E, I just had to change and the new E coming up was not enough of a change for me to stay.

Around $150 or so. I will just have my autobody guys install it. I am going to probably have them do the dual exhaust tips and new rear diffuser which I plan on getting rather soon after the car arrives. The only other thing will be some rims maybe in the summer then I am done touching the car.

I assume this is only for use when you are parked? That thing would flap around like crazy while driving at lower speeds, or do you just trigger the plate to pop up while you're getting pulled over? haha.
