As soon as the 320i hits the streets I'm going to swap my 328i badge out for one of these.

De-badging is for illusionists...trying to create the illusion that their car is something its not.

That depends on the vehicle. Someone who de-badge M3 is trying to keep a low profile.

Hard to miss an M3 debadged or not...
For people who know what an M3 is about, they will still spot it.
For those who don't know it will still make a difference since they don't know better.

I debadged my 328 because I like the way it looks better and I hate waxing around that stuff.

I could care less what car people think I have, and anyway, anyone who knows the difference can tell the difference.

Took my badge off for the same reason, the wax develops an ugly crust. The majority does not even know/care if you have a 320, 328 or 335, or even an M. (probably cant even tell the difference from E92 and a 6er) For those that do care, a simple de-badge is not going to prevent them from identifying the your model trim.

I have no experince with the badges from bimmian.com, but I wanted to mention that even the badges from the BMW factory are plastic.

+1

Some say most won't be even able to tell an E90 from an F30, at least in profile.
