Headlight Washer Nozzle Install: Bumper removal necessary?
I just ordered a new headlight washer nozzle and plan on installing it myself possibly - had a leak. The nozzle pops out of bumper and sprays headlights.
I've seen a few DIY's of this and most all seem to remove the bumper which isn't hard, just a bit tedious and time consuming especially without being able to jack up front of car. Is it possible to install this by removing the wheel and the front fender linerinstead of removing whole bumper? When you do that, the whole back of the headlight is exposed, so I assume it would be. Dealer wants $230 to do the job but this is pretty basic to do on your own. '06 330i sedan E90 adaptive xenon with headlight washers Thanks for input! |

If it is, you will explore a new dimension re: creative cursin' + skinned knuckles. Hey, be good to yourself....do it the easy way! Chocks, floor jack; jack stands, please. Or, many vocational schools and junior colleges have bays for automotive instruction you can rent, or take a course! Talkin' 2 post lift.... |
