Hi guys some advice needed

Thought I would say hi and post my first post .

I have a uk x5 on a 02 plate and my key wont charge in the ignition barrel?
Also the door lock when you drive away has stopped working ?

Is there a quick fix to these issues or is it a dealer option and a new mortgage to sort out ?

Go to xoutpost and do a search on Replacing Key Battery. There is a DIY on how to change the battery.
The door locking situation needs a computer and software to change. If you had it it should still be working. However, the beasts can develop a mind of their own at times. My Autolock comes and goes at will. I also had a period when BOTH mirrors dipped when you put it in reverse.
SHE can be very temperamental at times.
