X3 parts

Hi new to this sight, have a question, own a 2004 X3 which took a joy ride through a fence, I'm looking on ebay for parts, some of the parts say they will not fit a 2004, so my question is what year body style will match a 2004 X3 3.0 need front bumper parts and right fender, thanks for you help in advanced

Sounds expensive - i'd stay away from eBay for parts since you want to get OEM

thanks for the reply, I went to realoem.com and go the part # that I need, was cking ebay for parts but the years, some match and others don't was wondering if body style changed that much and if so what years would my 04 match with?? some say 03-04, some 04-06??? I'm lost, but thanks for the quick reply if all else fails will head into dealer$$$$

ebayer sellers are not as informed about the model as we are here.

There is no such thing as a 2003 X3.

The 2004 had 2-piece front fenders, so you probably want to make sure of that, unless you want to do both sides and then you could use 2005 or 2006 fenders.

Similarly with bumpers - they changed over the years.

The big change in appearance was in 2007, but even in the 2006 model year you will see different (optional) bumper styles.

how about you show us the damage and what needs replacement. I'll see what the part numbers are and prices, but just from the sound of it your going to be in for over a thousand to get a bumper, paint, blend fenders etc.

thanks for the reply, the 2003# was build year from what I understand? the parts that I need are:41353403736 side panel front right, 511134200897 bumper trim panel top front, already ordered headlight for it, the bumper trim is the panel under headlights W/headlight washer, with fender will need plastic trim pieces that go around wheel well, haven't figured out how to put pictures on this site yet, will try and figure it out and post them, thanks for answers

figured was going to cost alot, but is wifes car, thats one of the reasons for cking ebay on used parts, got parts for my 528 from ebay didn't get burned on them, so hoping same with x3

to post pictures there is a "manage attachments" under Attach files when you reply to a thread. You can also "host" pictures using Photobucket or Flicker by inserting the image URL

No problem. Like I said it will be expensive because those are obviously body parts and will need prep,paint,blending fenders. You can try other sites like:
Pelican Parts
Bav Auto

eBay - I never really have luck there

got the pic to members galleries, haven't figured out how to get them to this page, I use bavauto alot, not so much pelican parts, no reason just like bavauto, except their prices, will have to start looking at other sites for parts now that I found this site for info
