Sport line now with M Sport steering wheel?

The 320i sport package is a super deal. For $1000, you get:
- Sport seats
- Sport suspension
- Larger wheels
- M-sport steering wheel
- Short-throw shifter (if manual)

well worth $1000

Yes, absolutely. Sport package is a must have for 320.

So now that I established that I'm not getting the M Sport Wheel, how do I confirm that I am getting the red stripe trim on the dash? I'm looking at BMWVIN, and I just don't see it anywhere. I was able to confirm just about everyting else I ordered except that.

It will be listed, with an option code similar to this, mine is the blue stripe:

S4DXA AKZENTLEISTEN BLAU MET. MATT Accent moldings, blue metallic matt

Good luck getting you steering wheel "switched out". I'm sure that's a very simple and cheap operation. I can tell you that the M sport steering wheel is amazing. I've never felt anything like it. It is so smooth it feels like it's covered in a neverending coating of baby powder. The most subtle, non sticky, non greasy thing you have ever felt. Even stranger is that it is padded. You can squeeze it probably close to an 1/8". Before you snub the M sport wheel, give it a chance first. I honestly don't know how they make things like this.

To swap out an M-sport wheel will probably be $1500+, and dealer will probably laugh you out the door if you request it.

That is a great deal even at an MSRP of $1300. Base 320i, black or white, with msport pkg, manual or auto, plus pdestination with 4 yrs maintenance and warranty has an MSRP of $34,745.

I'm sure the wheel is amazing and it's supposed to be better than the "standard" one on sport line but... it's confirmed now, the sport line cars in production now are not getting them so there's no issue here.

Okay, so I have a sport line 328i on order in Mineral Gray with Everest Gray leather seats with black accent stitching and wood trim. I had assumed that the wheel's stitching would match the leather upholdstry's black stitching, but this thread has revealed to me that I am getting red stitching. It will be the only red in the interior. Those of you that have similar interiors, do you like or hate the red stitching? Is it out of place?

If I had my druthers it wouldn't be there, but I barely notice it anymore. Steering wheel stitching is not a huge part of the interior.

This is why I wanted the black dakota leather with red stitching and the red stripe. It all ties together. Plus, it will add a real nice splash of color to the Silver & black I'm going with. My e90 was all Silver and Black and had no color at all. I can't wait to see my new car with the splashes of red on the inside.

I couldn't edit my order fast enough to get rid of that awful red stripe.

Everest gray, aluminum and black accents look great together.

I have the mg/eg combo with aluminum accents and wood trim and the red stitching on the wheel is the only red I have. Does not bother me at all. I wouldn't worry about it.

That's what I have on order right now too... Do you have some pics of the interior that i can drool over?

One thing I noticed is that the red stripe looks a lot better in person than on bmw's website.

I have the Sports Package with the Everest Gray interior. Although I ordered with the Red trim thinking the trim would go with the threading, the Red threading is barely perceptible. It will not be an issue and looks good with the lighted red gauges. The wheel is very nicely done.
