Shutting Off!
I have a 2002 BMW 325I with 168,000 mi on it. Lately my car has been doing something weird which I have no clue what it is. I start the car and as soon as I put it into a gear, regardless of which gear, it will just shut off. It will start fine and idle but shuts off when placed into a gear and sometimes if it does go into Drive it my stall and die when I go to accelerate. I have just replaced the fuel pump on it so I know it's not that.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. It doesn't do this all the time but enough to make me worry. Afraid I will be at an intersection one day and it stall out and die and I get slammed into. Last edited by smallbwilmoth; 01-17-2013 at 11:06 AM. Reason: Additional Info
