Can someone tell me is my car LCI or Pre LCI? I have a 2009 535i X-drive with Xeron lights. I want to upgrade my Angel Eye and don't understand the LCI and Pre LCI. What to order and which is the brightest lights?
Thank you

IMO, no need to go HID route; the limiting factor for E60 LCI still the plastic-rings inside the headlight not output of the bulbs.
The brightest still to open the headlights, baking the headlight to soften the glue at low heat to open so not alot people would do it, then put an Orion LED string-ring in their places. But basic SMD super-bright LED from mfg like Cree has come down in price, I just order 20W (claimed by seller) H8 bulbs for under $80 now. Supposedly these are the poor man version of LUX (> $250), will see when they arrive if that's the case. |
