Both low beam lamps don't work. HELP. (E60 2008 528i)

I got a "low beam malfunction" alert for both left and right headlights. Unless it's one hell of a coincidence, I'm pretty sure it's not the bulbs. Fuses are fine. My guess is that it has something to do with the light control module?

If this is the case, would a DIY replacement be feasible? Or could there be any other explanation for the simultaneous malfunction? I'm new, and this is my first post here, so if I'm imposing on any forum etiquette in any way, I apologize in advance . Thanks!

Sounds like a relay malfunction/blown fuse...have a word with the dealer/indy.

No big deal if it is a relay/fuse.

Perhaps a bulb failure took out the fuse???

One should treat others as one would like others to treat oneself.
