passenger seat stuck (e46)

my passenger seat is stuck all the way back.it started with the seat not going foward,

now none of the seat motors(passenger) are working.fuse 70 is good and i replaced

passenger seat control unit(217717).need help

the bently book did't help. i need a way to remove the seat(the rear bolts are covered with the seat)

You may need to get a regular racheting wrench, not a socket, and slowly try to get them off that way. You may also want to try removing the connectors from under the seat and directly power the seat motors that way, but I have no idea which ones power the seat motors. Hopefully it is not the seat motors themselves and is just a power supply problem. Sorry I was not able to offer more help. Hopefully someone who has done this will respond and offer more.

the seat is jammed all the way back and down.there is no way of geting to the bolts from the front

This DIY has pictures to show how to remove the lower seat cushion (just 2 screws) to get access to the motors/electrical (this person also had a passenger seat stuck in rear position):

I fialy fixed my seat with the help of joe burns (bavarian auto recycle). the control module for the seat changed part # i 2002 and again in 2004.I moved the seat by applying + and - 12v the to the connector under the control module(a tamaya connector .from the local hobby shop fits great).
the new module #61357067801 did the trick.i thank every one on this form for the help
