E70 Spacers
Have anyone installed spacers and bolt kit from ECS Tuning?
If so any feedback? http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E70-X5_...ers/ES2550799/

nachilus,
You've posted this question in (at least) 3 forums -- all with an invalid link ![]() I don't think that you are looking at the correct spacers for your X5 though -- ECS Tuning says these are what they sell for the E70's like ours... E70 4.8i wheel spacers |

ECS also sells the H&R DR series 20mm with MFG# 4075740. So why do you think i am not looking at the correct spacers? I posted it on multiple forums to see if anyone have any experience with the ECS product.

Sorry, if I wasn't clear. I wasn't saying that those spacers that you are looking at will not work -- they just don't come up as "matches" for your X5 model.
The H&R spacers have been recommended by many over the years. I think less is known about the "ECS Tuning" branded ones. Haven't seen anything negative about them though. |

another thing some members recommend 20mm and other 25mm, any input on that?

I have considered spacers (and still sorta considering them).
5mm is obviously not worth the trouble and I have seen 30mm in person. I was able to see the X5 drive and then chat to the driver. I thought that 30mm "cheapened" the look of the X5. Based on that, I don't know if the 25mm would look that great. So 20mm would be my choice. I wouldn't do anything on the front as you already have the 20" wheels. I think it makes more sense for those with 19" wheels to consider front spacers as well as rear. |

I am currently using the ECS 20mm spacer and bolt combo that they offer on their website. I'm using them on the rear axle for my OE winter wheel/tire setup that has the same offset for all four wheels. I am very happy with the performance of this setup. I have absolutely no vibration or any other negative effects. My only complaint is that their bolts are silver vs. the OE black bolts.

No vibration or adverse effects at all at any speed. I wrote about that in the review.
