Hello guys can you tell me why on my 2008 550i m sport i keep losing the time and date ill reset it and next time i go out to drive my car it needs reseting thanks greg

Very likely, battery is very low. If you don't have it, buy a battery charger and recharge the battery.

Yup, that's often the first sign that your battery is done. Happened to me the exact same way.
2008 550i, Sport Package, Sport Transmission, Active Steering, Navigation, Comfort Access, L7 Audio, Miro 111 wheels 19", full MagnaFlow Exhaust.

definitely could be the battery. It could also be casued by opening and clsong the car multiple times during the day without starting and running it. When you even apprach the car, all the electronics turn on and stay "prepped" for half an hour. This was the cause of my issue last year. Now, however, I'm losing a few minutes each day, my cranking feels less robust and so I think I am at the dying battery stage, too.
