Trunk size on 2003 vs 2010 5 Series sedan

Hello all,

I plan to add a subwoofer to my car and I found one website has it. I called the guy asked him if the box will fit on my car 2010 535i, he told me that if the trunk size of my car same size with the 2003 or 2004 model then it will fit. How do I find out if the trunk size are the same or different ?
Anyone have any idea, please give some input

The first thought that came to me after reading your post, was to search Craigslist for the model car you want to measure, go measure it, or ask the owner to measure it.

2004 and 2010 owners manuals list trunk capacities as 18.4 sq ft and 18.36 sq ft respectively. Appears there is no difference. Can't say for the 2003.

Capacity the same but the dimensions are the same or not ?
