Tranny fluid leak at bottom of the pan

Just bought a 2004 325CI convertible. 100K miles
As a long time BMW owner I'm very pleased with this car, but when I changed the engine oil I noticed the bottom of the tranny pan was wet and blowing back on the exhaust.
I'm fairly confident it is tranny fluid.
When I purchased the car I reached underneath the car to check for any leaks after a test drive and there were no noticeable leaks. Unbelievably it is not hitting the driveway or garage floor.
The car was sitting on the BMW dealers lot for around 45-50 days.

Does anyone have any thoughts as to where to start looking for the source of the leak.

Make sure it is tranny fluid. Do you have an automatic? If so, I would not drive it long without fixing that- once you confirm. Your description is typically an engine oil leak spreading back across tranny pan.

Yes, it is an automatic transmission. I will put it back on the jack stands and verify the fluid.

Oil Filter Housing Gasket (OFHG) or Oil Pan Gasket are two typical suspects.
