328i M Sport 6 speed manual. 1st gear feels flat??

I just took delivery on my 328iM Sport package with a 6 speed manual. The car is unbelievable at speed. From 30-100 mph in any gear it just pulls and pulls. On the way home from the dealer, I passed other cars on the highway like they were sitting still in 6th gear going from 60-100mph in no time, without downshifting. However, 1st gear seems to have almost no pull. Does anyone else with a manual have this impression? I don't want to do full power 0-60 tests to check performance until I get past the break in period. Sorry in advance for the crappy cell phone pics. If my car is not in sport or sport + then power is cut in 1st with traction control quite a lot. The car also loosens up as the miles pile on.

Thanks for the reply. I have had the car in sport or sport plus the entire time. I will be getting it re-coded to remember the last setting so I don't get totally freaked out by the auto start stop and the car accidentally driving in comfort mode (underwhelming boat factors!)

Wonder if BMW limits boost in 1st gear to be nicer to the clutch. My Viggen had a boost limit stock in 1st and 2nd. I am treating myself to a BMS tune for my Bday in April, will see how that goes.

the MSA memory setting only remembers the ASS setting. it will still default to comfort when you restart the engine. I actually dont mind auto start stop on the MT, i did not like it on the auto 328i i test drove. although the restart on the N20 is rougher than on the N55

My 328i's N26 ASS starts to smooth out after break-in, however haven't compared that to N55 with 1-2k miles.
