Traded my 550 for an M3

Some of you may remember that I was having non stop vibration issues with my 550I. I couldn't put up with it any longer so I decided to trade it in and get something a bit more fun.

550I was a great car, loved everything about it except the vibration issue and that it could've been a little sportier.

I drove the M5 for the 3rd time and I decided that I wanted something a little more connected, something that sounded awesome. M3 does it all. sure the gas mileage isn't the greatest but that's the price your pay for this engine sound.

I'll post pictures a little later today.

Congratulations! The mighty M3 is imo BMWs best car by a mile, nothing currently in production comes close. You will love it, guaranteed. mpg should be close to the 550, no too bad but range is pretty poor due to the smaller fuel tank. It's a small price to pay for what this car offers. Enjoy!

Enjoy it. The E92 M3 is a great car, it handles better than the current M5 and M6 (IMHO). Did you opted for the competition package?

Looking at those dials through that thick M stiched steering wheel you know you are in for something special. How can anyone want LCD dials? Hopefully the new M3 will keep the analogue gauages.

I don't want LCD, but those dials have been in need of an update for awhile now.

Thank you.

Some people might call me a Luddite, but me and Patek Phillipe are doing just fine.

Especially when you have had a rough day, as you trudge out to your M3...you see your car...
Your spirits are lifted - your pulse quickens as you anticipate pushing the start button - Vroom! Vroom! Miraculously, the sun, the moon and the stars shine brighter, and your spirit is lifted and energized. As you savor the moment, you find yourself spontaneously laughing and you sport a giant ear to ear grin.

Get used to the grin - every day you get to drive your M3 is a giant grin happy day!

Congrats!

Ha Ha! we must be on message today if we can get a guy who worships at the dark altar of Porsche - There Is No Substitute - to even consider returning to the Light of M!

Got $56K for my car. I know I could've sold it myself but I guess I was too lazy. Original Msrp was $75,025. Paid roughly $68k. Only had 10500 miles.
