No hole in rear seat for skis?
I just started skiing and bought a pair of skis this weekend. Surprised to note that there is no hole after pulling down rear armrest.
I don't have any cold wthr or comfort access pkgs but thought a hole was at least standard. I have my own ski bag and wasn't looking for the E90 style. Is it me or everyone else?

Do you have an F30? Folding rear seats? If you have folding rear seats the entire center section folds down.

Yea, I have a 2013 F30. My rear seats fold down as I have two levers in trunk that I pull to lower.(as usual).
But I can't figure out a way to pop the hole cover in armrest. After folding down the arm rest, i see a long piece of rubber that does nothing. ![]() I am at work now and don't have car to take a picture to show. Anyone near to their 2013 F30, go take a look? |

It's independent of the left and right rear seats.

The independent center seat fold down is part of the cold weather package.

I don't have the cold weather package, but I do have the independent center section that folds down. Mine is a MY12 and I ordered the fold down seats.
I know that the folding rear seats are standard in MY13, but I don't know if the center section function changed. I wouldn't think so. OP: Can you post a picture of the center of your rear seats? |

I looked at the current BMW configurator, and you're right; the rear center section looks different from my MY12.
Here is a picture form mine. The red arrow is the center section release: |

I don't have the cold weather package on my 2013 - the center fold down is standard. And it's awesome. I fit a snowboard and two pairs of skis (in a bag) easily. While not having to fold down seats so my skiing buddies don't have to sit I'm each other's laps.
