2010 528 xi or 335 diesel?

Looking to trade in my beloved 2004 525i Sport due to high miles (135K). Have my eye on 2 low mileage CPOs in the area...2 completely different cars. The 528 is a known commodity...short on sport but a great car, the diesel is the more interesting of the 2 but not sure about long term maintenance or reliability on the turbo diesel. Plus, that model is being discontinued. Any thoughts welcomed.

Well the 335 diesel has been discontinued in the U. S., but BMW sells hundreds of thousands of diesels in the rest of the world. They haven't discontinued the model; they've just stopped selling it to us.

I'd go for the diesel; its a much more interesting car.
