Sudden Loss Of Power!

So, as we speak, I'm stuck at the Post Office after trying to start my car and nothing will come on! While it can't be seen in the picture, the light by the "P" is blinking. HELP!!! Does anyone know what could be causing this???? Click image for larger version

After a getting a jump from a friend, I was able to get it home and in my garage, but as soon as I parked it, it died again. I was not able to get in the trunk to get the battery, even with manually using my key. When I turned the key in the lock, I was able to turn it in a complete circle. I'm at a loss at what to do.

Try jumping, or charging the battery via the posts under the hood. Is the trunk not opening with the key fob or button inside while applying power via jump? A free spinning key in the ignition can be caused by a worn key. The car thinks it's not the proper key and allows free spinning so the car won't start. Not sure if it's the same in the trunk or not. Do you have a second key to try?

I tried both keys, and the trunk was not opening with the key fob. I tried the button inside, and that didn't work, but I'm assuming that the button inside may just be a fuse issue.
