Is it possible to add USB to 2008 650i Without Logic 7 Package?

Hey guys, happy Friday! I searched and couldn't find a discussion in the e63/e64 forums. I'm wondering if it's possible to add a USB input for playing music off of a USB drive to a 2008 650i coupe that didn't come with the Logic 7 Aux/USB connections in the center console. If so, what's the approximate cost of doing so? Thanks in advance!

I am in the same boat. I was quoted $850 to install the denison 500 plus you need dealer programming to recognize the new device.

The denison is a lot of money IMHO.

I believe you can add the aux in. I did that and just use an old iPod that I leave in The car.

Do a search on adding the aux in.

I also added a USB charger port in the center and a back up camera with an interface that let's me watch videos from the iPod on the nav screen also. Can't do that with the Denison.

interesting, I thought it was standard, I have USB/AUX in my car... i play music from a USB stick all the time.

If it was a late build car, you might have a different system. Do you know if you have the CCC or CIC controller?

If it's not there you should be able to ad add it. double check that there is not one in the glove box.

The 2008 and 2009 came either standard audio, aux in only or logic 7 with the usb and extra speakers. If you have a cd changer you can add ipod control for less than $500. But if no cd changer or wiring for cd changer you are **** out of luck.

Right now I am using a belkin bluetooth charger cable to stream my phone to the aux in.
