Code question
My engine light came on my 2006 BMI 750I the code came up P17EI what does this code mean?

I think the code might be P17E1 (last is 1 not I). From a search and you will find that is related to the transmission. Some comments are battery voltage, mechatronics sleeve, or complete tranmission failure. I am having occational hard shifts (but no error codes) and will be replacing the mechatronics sleeve (and pan) this week to see if that helps.
