All BMWs New Code: Change of the Navigation Graphics in the Instrument Cluster

The instrument cluster shows the navigation instructions in the lower portion.

The graphics usually look like the picture below:



With a code change the navigation instructions shown in the cluster will look as the picture below:



In my opinion, these graphics look crisper and sharper that the originals. (sorry for the quality of the pictures)

You can set your preference with the following code:

KOMBI->3000 Anzeige_Konfiguration, 32->NAVICOLOR_TABLE->neue_farbtabelle (default is alte_farbtabelle)

This works for both, the extended and the non-extended instrument cluster. Note-This does not affect the HUD navigation graphics.

How will this work as the non extended cluster does not show navigation data at all? Some secret nifty feature I'm not aware about perhaps?

on my F07 with MFID , I-Level 48.2, the default is already "neue_Farbtabelle"
