radio turns off

Anyone have this problem.
Riding in the car, radio playing.
I stop and go into the store, or buy gas.
When I get back in the car and start it up the radio is off and the "no speaker" icon is on the display. I have to push the radio volume button to get the radio back. This is something new and has been happening every third or fourth shutdown/restart.

Any ideas?

Yes:
  1. Find out what the fault graphic definition is
  2. Discover what codes have been noted in memory

You may do that by communing with the guru Google or, Yang to its Yin, Bing.

Help: Look for a code reader that is capable of BMW proprietary definitions.

Your car is a 2007... Perhaps its time for a new battery...
