Buying 2008 335I

Im looking to buy a 2008 bmw 335I. I currently own a 2005 325I and a 2010 x3 m sport. The 335I im looking to buy has 79000 miles. My question before I buy is what are common problems with the car at this mileage. Are the turbo's reliable? I know owning a bmw maintenance cost can be high, I have 110,000 on my 325I and really other than replacing the intake boot, valve cover gasket, and spark plugs have had no trouble at all.

As far as the turbos go, that is a normal wear item, at some point you will need to replace them. It's impossible to tell without driving it and putting it up on a rack and removing the shield to look at a few things.

Mechtronic sleeve
Carbon build up (requires walnut blasting 400-900 bucks(
Sparkplug issues
I believe they have a SB out for the tail light signals being replaced (I had it done)

As you know it depends on the previous owner. If you've got guys like us that wait to 200-210 degrees before we floor it [I can count on one hand when I've had to WOT before warm up due to an emergency] they should last. If you've got some guy flooring on cold and just going HAM you might have issues sooner than the people who baby.
