E30 (1982 - 1993)
God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993. |

e30 2.7 storker
Hello
I have an 85 325e and I bought a complete 88 325is motor to do the stroker swap. I have everything completer but my fuel pump is not turning on all the relays are good. I can turn it over but I have no fuel or spark. All the wires are new the cap and rotor are new and the spark plugs to. I'm stuck I have tested everything and still no luck. |

check your crank sensors.. If its anything like mine there on the transmission up near engine on driver side.. Make sure connections are good, and maybe grab one from a salvage yard to swap in and out.

Quote:
Did you replace the e ECU with the i one, and the harness, too? Won't work otherwise.

You can keep your current harness & ECU by running a Unichip
![]() The sensors on the engine should be the same, they just run different ECU's with different software. Your engine should run, it will just not be in proper tune...

Is there a way to check of the engine number 20 6ka 21777274, what the original displacement was
![]() My Google search left me reaching for a drink I am only asking it in this thread, as the motor came with a car that was supposed to be a stroked 2.7. And it is not the original motor of the 323 which was licensed as a 8295354 I know I have to pull the 277731 head, to determine what is up exactly (CR being one thing). And then of course to port it
