if you're running staggered wheels (wider in the back), it's not going to matter cuz youre going change them once per year...go to tirerack and buy some hankooks for 200$/each. if you live somewhere that snows, that changes things.

Are you sure? The Continental DW's are a good, quieter, all-round tire; they're very good in the rain, too.

they were on a different car.. and i take turns at a higher speed than most ... so for my needs i guess not... but for ordinary folk.. sure, why not... but I like my soft-compound tires...

If money isn't a concern, get the Michelin Pilot Super Sport.

If it is, get either the Continental DW (DWS if you drive in snow) or the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo.

For performance Mich Pilot Sport is the best tire, the compund is softer and the grip better. I used them on my turbo hayabusa 602hp to the ground, 7.11.4 @ 206.1. The rear was change twice in 4 events (yes street tires, its a street class).
The P-zero will give you more miles over time but the tire is louder due to harder compound. Contential is a all season tire witha good rating but too extreme hard drives or wet then you will be at the tire limits.
