Storing an address as a shortcut

Guys, question for you all - when I got my Bimmer the service guys setup my home address such that I push down on the number 1 on my Nav. How do I do this with another address? Every time I enter a destination and push the button it stores the map view vs. the destination. Even when it's in my address book. Thoughts?

Go to the address in last addresses or the address book. Push and hold the memory key.

Same procedure to store anything on memory key. Get to point where you would select it with I drive controller to activate it. But instead of clicking on iDrive, press and hold the memory key.
