2015 New 750Li Body Style

Are there any better pic’s of what we can expect in the major overhaul of the 750Li? I like the meaner more aggressive look, but was hoping for a bit more.


With that said, what do you want to see changed or improved? My thoughts….
1.More performance
2.Wider Wheel options
3.Flare out the fenders to give more styling to show off larger wheels.
4.Improve the Navigation start up. Seems to take forever –( 10-20 sec’s)
5.Door locks located on the door rather than the center console.
6.A stereo worth turning on.

You realize there's not one ounce of acuracy in that, right? Mere speculation (based on a current photo)...

But, I'd really love to see 8 Series revival in the form of the "BMW Concept CS".

Are you Chinese? If not, I'd discount that. The Chinese market is the largest for the 7 series. So expect more rear legroom, more oppulence, and softer ride.

Sounds about right, as long as they keep the RR Ghost on the 7er platform, you can expect that.

You're not going to see much information for the 2015 model until probably late 2014.

Is the new design coming as a 2015. I always thought it would come late 2015 or 2016 as a 2016 model year here in the USA.

If BMW stays true to tradition, and also like Mercedes-Benz....The all new 7 Series will be a 2016 model. It would most likely become available in the summer of 2015 (July or August). I think the next 7 Series will be awesome, and much more aggressive looking, but more luxurious inside. I think BMW knows the current 7 is a phenomenal car, but lacks some luxury and interior refinement and quality touches like the S-Class and A8. Since 2001, each new 7 Series and 7 Series tweak/update just gets better!!

Yeah, Ghost is gone It was a great car...like an uber 7 Series on Steroids!! Our salesman just offered an incredible deal on the new 2013 Phantom Series II, that just could not be resisted. The Ghost was great, The Phantom is awesome!!! The Phantom is not available with Comfort Access, Head up Display or Cooled seats and I now those features I loved having...but every other aspect is basically perfect!!

Not a Kardashian, LOL. But, I run into them seriously like EVERY day here in Calabasas!! They are too much for my taste!!!

Oh I bet, the Phantom is the pinnacle of automobile perfection. Did the 2013 also get performance tweaks?

My Phantom is the 'Sport' version, if that even exists for a Rolls Royce. I got the 21" hand polished wheels, visible rear exhaust pipes, thicker steering wheel, rubber and chrome door steps, all black Nappa leather and high gloss Piano Black wood.

The engine is a 453-bhp, 531 lb.-ft. of torque, direct-injection 6.7-liter V-12 engine with a smooth as silky butter ZF 8-speed transmission! The Ghost is a twin turbo, and has more bhp than the Phantom, and The Ghost is lighter; and therefore quicker. The Phantom is naturally aspirated. But, there is plenty of power...and it is shocking how this massive land yacht pulls itself to 60+ MPH

Absolutely stunning car and I love the new LED lights on the 2013 models, gives it's the subtle modern touch . And I'm glad you went with silver and not black; my next car will be silver because I feel it's the most underrated color nowadays seeing how white is basically the next choice after black and silver highlights the lines on a car much crisper than white.

I forget the proper term RR uses for the acceleration on the Phantoms but I've read that the acceleration is flawless so the passengers in the back of the car don't fell it when you floor it.

I agree the car is absolutely stunning.

As for Silver being the color of choice. I had a Silver Lincoln years ago and loved it because it never looked dirty. My local BMW dealer has had a Silver 750 Li on the lot/showroom for a year and can't give the thing away. Every time I take my car in for a wash it's sitting there and I have to just scratch my head as to why it is sitting there discounts and all. (it is optioned pretty nice also, so I don't thing that is the problem)

Now back to the original post. What are your thoughts on the next overhaul?? And yes, I am aware the pic is a concept rendering.

I'd say Lovin and Deutsch are right on the money with the next 7 being a 2016 model year.

One thing that the S Class does have that our 7ers are severely lacking is storage space. I miss the arm rest door storage bins. I used to throw my sunglasses in there. The center console in our cars is a joke, we can't even remove the smartphone dock. The storage space above the glove compartment is also too small for anything.

But overall wouldn't stop me from getting another one, not a deal-breaker.

As far as the interior, its more of taste. The COMAND system is getting a little old and outdated. This is where I prefer the iDrive in our current version.

RR likes to use the word 'waftability' for acceleration and handling and drive character. They also like to refer to 0-60, 0-100 and 60-0 as 'adequate'. he he he

I LOVE silver. I've had more silver cars than any other colour...and I've gone thru A LOT of cars! IMO, it's the one colour that looks good on any car, any make and in any price range.
