New Chroming Process
Has anyone purchased wheels that were chromed using the PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) process? Apparently a lot greener process which eliminates the toxic chemicals. Several SoCal wheel companies now use PVD. I'm thinking about black chrome on my 2011 528, Spt. Pkg. I called one wheel company and they didn't have replacement wheels for me, meaning I would have to leave my car on blocks until I could ship my wheels for chroming, have the company chrome my wheels, then return finished product to me. Just couldn't be without my car for that long. Could be 2-4 weeks.
