Timing belt help!
Hello! My water pump has gone on my 1990 bmw 325i (m20), while replacing the pump I found out my timing belt is shot!
I am just wondering wether I should keep the pump out, to put the timing belt in? will it make it easier? If anyone has any step by step instructions to replace a timing belt or even just tips that would be greatly appreciated! Cheers! Eric

leave it out. do the tbelt then put water pump back on. just makes it that much easier
