Impressed with the Goodyear Warranty!
I know this has been written about before but I just wanted to say that the Goodyear warranty for our tires (LS2 specifically) is pretty awesome. I have driven my car for 900 miles on LS2's and got my first bubble over the weekend (inevitable i know). I have the tire and wheel insurance through BMW, but tried out the Goodyear warranty first since the BMW insurance has the $50 deductible. Anyway, I called Goodyear, got a claim number, they called the nearest tire store (Mavis), and they put a new tire on for free, mounting and balancing included, I paid nothing!!!
However, the Goodyear rep told me that all new Goodyear tires no longer have Road Hazard warranties anymore, but 2012 vehicles equipped with Goodyear tires before November 2012 are "Grandfathered" so to speak. I think after the first year the warranty becomes prorated based on usage on the tire. Either way pretty good coverage that we should all be aware of.

Glad you are.. I am having too pull teeth to get tires at a decent cost. I have a bubble in each of my front tires ( 10k miles on the car ) Tire rack has our OE front tires for $386 but goodyear will only give me a my warranty discount at what they sell the tires for which is $506.. So my warranty discount is essentially pointless since I can get the same price for a new tire directly through tirerack.
Huge waste of my time.. I guess I am dropping RFTs like I should have a while ago..

Did you call goodyear and get a claim number? I would call corporate directly if you have not done so already. They told me it was fully covered for the first year unless there was significant wear, which should not be the case for you.

I don't think mileage matters. I got my CPO 2011 550i back in July of 2012. It had 12000 miles and Goodyear tires. In 5000 miles, I've went through 7 bubbles and Goodyear warranty them all. Just call and get a claim number and see if you're still under the warranty.
Kckc, you sure I can get a reimbursement? I've called them and they said the customer pays out of pocket for mounting and balancing. |

yeah mileage should not matter unless tread is severly worn, im surprised they are giving you such a hard time.
I was told that customer pays out of pocket for mounting and balancing after the year warranty.
