Painting wheel rims
Looking for suggestions on painting the wheel rims of my 328i. My goal is to have a metallic ( gunmetal or bronze) finish with a paint that can eventually be removed if needed.

If you want to remove it eventually id say go with plastidip. If you want it permanent and I recommend it, powder coat them. It's the best thing I did. I did it to 2 sets of rims and couldn't be happier. I recommended my friends to do it when they wanted to change the color of their rims and they couldn't be happier either

Run a search function in the top right of the page with keyword plastidip. I've read two or three posts recently about people using that product on their rims. It won't look as good as a professional paint job, but users seem happy with its appearance and it's (reportedly) removable and (supposedly) durable. YouTube also has several videos.
