Another Newbie question - 2007 750LI

I am new to the site and looking for some general information. I am considering buying a 2007 750LI with 70K miles. Price seems reasonable per NADA Guide but I am not familiar with any BMW's (I drive an MB E500) so my questions are:

Is it a good year/model for BMW?

Anything I should look out for - common issues/repairs?
