Mechanic Needed

Any BMW Mechanics in the Los Angeles (south bay) area that want to help me replace a water pump, theromostat, hoses on a 2001 525?.

Have all parts and tools except fan clutch wrench.

Looking for someone to tutor/coach me through the process in my garage.

Naturally, I would pay for their time/assistance.

Thanks,
Matt

OP wants someone (BMW MECHANIC) to help HIM work on his car using HIS PARTS & HIS TOOLS.
Is this right, OP?

He appears to need a tutor. Wonder if he expect to pay for it?

Yes that is correct. I should have been more clear and naturally I would pay for their time/assistance.

Whats the typical shop rate? 100/hr? If your handy enough to be walked through it you can find a great DIY online that will answer pretty much any questions you have. I have done a few to many BMW cooling systems and its a walk in the park now. Reading a few DIY write ups should be enough coaching, but dont attempt somthing you think you cant handle.
